Playing in the Snow

Lucy played in the snow for the first time ever today! The temperature was warm enough, there was hardly any wind and luckily the snow hadn't all melted off yet, so we all headed outside for some fun! It's such a precious gift getting to watch your child discover something for the first time. I never get over seeing her wonderment and sweet innocence. I remembered seeing this old picture of me in this blue puffer coat with fur playing in the snow and when I saw Lucy out playing in the snow in her pink puffer coat with fur, I just melted. Time stood still for a few seconds today and I got a little teary thinking this would be a moment I know I'll always remember. I've been blessed beyond belief and cherish every moment of this beautiful life. Oh LuLu, thank you for making every day of my life better than the last.

I love this one. This was her true first reaction to the snow. She got so tickled that it was on her glove and was so excited to show us!

More kisses, then she pushed him down in true Lucy fashion. Such a little lover, but still a feisty little thing.

Crazy dog catch snowballs. Lucy was dying laughing at Reesie, like always, and Carlos and I couldn't quit laughing at Lucy.

She would have stayed out there for hours if we let her. So much fun!
