Easter Day

We had a wonderful laid back Easter with our sweet girl.  Here's a few pictures of our day.

Lucy said the Easter Bunny needed a snack, so I asked her what she thought he might like.  She said, "Momma, he would like some carrots with ranch".  I never knew, haha!

Even before I was pregnant and was just dreaming of having a baby girl, there was a picture of the most adorable little girl in a Pottery Barn magazine that I just knew our little girl was going to look like.  She had Lucy's exact color hair, pig tails and a white little cardigan sitting at a white little play table.  I walked into Lucy's playroom and look what I saw.  Sounds silly, but almost took my breath away.  I never stop thinking God for this gift he's giving us.  My perfect little pig tailed girl.

Norman Easter Egg Hunt

Lucy and I met our friends, Laren, Ella, Olivia and Nick for Norman's annual Easter Egg Hunt.  It was insane this year and so packed!!! Even with it being so busy this year, the girls had fun running around doing their own thing!

Decorating Easter Eggs

Thursday night we came home from school and decorated Easter Eggs.  Lucy loved the new colored Q-tips that you just get to paint directly on the eggs.  Such a great idea!  We even made a Reesie Egg.

School Easter Egg Hunt

Lucy's school had the most adorable Easter Egg Hunt on Thursday.  Lucy was being so silly and had an absolute blast! Once all the kids found the eggs, Lucy was still scanning the ground just to be 100% sure they were all gone.  A few kids even sat down to start going through their eggs and little miss was swiping them if they sat them back down on the ground.  We had to had several eggs back to our friends, ha! Such a fun day!

Easter Egg Hunt in the garden at school.  Lucy immediately found a little bunny mask and just had to put it on.  She wore that thing until we got home that afternoon, hilarious.

She was so independent and really could have cared less if we were there.  She was just doing her own thing with her little friends.  Loved seeing my independent girl.
