BEST Valentines Ever!

We celebrated Valentines Day on Saturday in the Rodriguez home.  We had our normal Saturday routine of getting up and cooking a big breakfast, but then Lucy and I made double chocolate fudge cupcakes for Carlos (Lucy's Valentine present to her Daddy) and she was so proud of those cupcakes!  Then, it was time for Luc to open her Valentines present from us.  She was so excited and ran to the couch to go through everything.  It didn't take her long to cover herself with stickers, haha! Lucy and Carlos gave me the most perfect present, a necklace from Vintage Pearl with Lucy's initial and birthstone (pearl) and my initial.  Carlos said he wanted me to have something that was just for Lucy and me.  I absolutely love it!  Later that afternoon we went to Jackson's last basketball game of the season and Lucy got her Valentines from Aunt Crissie, Uncle Jason, Jack and Kaylee and her Grammie and Papa.  She went home with her Grammie and Papa after the basketball game and Carlos and I were able to go on a date for Valentines.  We went to dinner at RedRock right off Lake Hefner and had such a great time!  This truly was one of the best Valentines I think I've ever had.

Me getting my pretty new necklace from LuLu.  And, yes she's definitely teething...again.  She's cutting all four of her canines right now.  This poor baby got all four molars at the same time and now all four canines.  At least the pain won't be drawn out, right? ;)
