More Valentines

A few more pictures from our valentines this year.  Carlos was terribly sick with strep and a sinus infection and Lucy ended up having an ear infection on Valentines Day.  Booooo!  So not fun.  We ended up celebrating a few days late, but still had a great valentines. 

Lucy got mail from her little boyfriend Trip.  It was precious and said, "Lucy will you be my valentine?" with his little handprints in red paint.  She was pretty excited her friend sent her mail.

My little valentine at Dr. Wilson's office waiting to confirm that she did have an ear infection.  We had a rough night prior to this, but that actual day you would have never known she wasn't feeling well.

Lucy's Papa had to come bring his special little valentine a dozen special valentine sugar cookies, some M&M's and a box of chocolates.  Of course my dad had to bring me my valentines also.  There hasn't been a year go by my entire life when he hasn't brought me flowers, chocolates or a gift for valentines.  Love you dad.

Since everyone was feeling under the weather on valentines, we celebrated that weekend.  I surprised Lucy and Carlos with a breakfast valentines party.  We had pink chocolate and banana pancakes and opened presents.

Lucy's valentines.  Can you tell I was feeling bad that my baby was sick on valentines? ;) Ha, but she loved it.  She's pretty into Pinkalicious lately, so was pumped about getting the Goldalicious book and the Pinkalicious doll.  And, she's been getting pretty into dressing up lately and told me she needed a Snow White dress.  And, what princess doesn't need some strawberry lipgloss and sugar free watermelon gum?

Lucy "fixes" my hair almost every night now.  And, no joke- she can put my hair in a pony tail and pig tails.  Pictures of that to come. But, we were laughing the other night with Lucy acting like she had my hair.  Might be what she ends up looking like in a few years.  She thought it was hilarious...thinking I need to get her a wig!

School Valentine Party!

Class O at Lucy's school celebrated Valentines on Friday and had an absolute blast.  They decorated sugar cookies, so of course all the kids loved it.

Ms. Bre, Ms. Hanna and Ms. Nancie Valentines. Bee Mine!  It's a miracle we made it to school with these. Lucy's all about lipstick these days and definitely wanted these.

Zebra Stripe/Jailbird Twinkies!

Lucy INSISTED that she wear her "zebra stripes" to school one morning last week to match me.  So, that we did.  It was slightly embarrassing walking into her school looking like I dressed my child to match me- but, who cares.  She loved it.

Lucy's Makeover

You better believe I am posting EVERY last picture I took of my baby girl and her first time to dig into makeup!  Last weekend, we had a very lazy Sunday and stayed in comfy clothes all day.  Lucy wanted to wear her "baby outfit" as she calls it.  A onesie our sweet friends, Lisa and Jordi, brought her back from a vacation last year.  It's 18-24 months and somehow we manage to stuff her in it, so she can act like a little baby.  She crawls around everywhere and talks like a baby.  Not going to lie, I love it.  I miss my little chubbers in a onesie and she even lets me rock and love on her like a tiny little baby.   I'll take it.  

Ok, back to the hair and makeup.  Lucy's hair has finally started to grow just a tiny bit more and we can finally pull it back in a pony tail...yay!  She was so proud of it.  After we did her hair, we went into her room and laid down a blanket, grabbed her mirror and makeup kit from her Grammie and Papa and let her go to town.  I just sat back and watched my big girl.  LOVE.HER.SO.MUCH.  Here's our little beauty queen....and don't be jealous, if you want your makeup done like Lucy's just come on over and she'll fix ya right up!
