Christmas Day

Lucy's Grammie, Papa, Aunt Crissie, Uncle Jason, Jack and Kaylee all came over around noon on Christmas Day and Lucy got to have her third Christmas! We opened presents, ate and ate some more, decorated gingerbread men and played games. Such a fun, fun Christmas!

At this point, Lucy was pro at opening presents and immediately went to town!

Lucy also got a grocery cart with lots of groceries from her cousins. This picture cracks me up...Kaylee is like a mini version of her Momma and was explaining everything to me. Lucy was about to start drooling she was so excited!

Christmas Morning

We had an unbelievable Christmas with Miss Lucy Brooke this year, but I think our favorite part definitely has to be Christmas morning. We weren't quite sure how Lucy was going to react this year, but we couldn't wait to find out. She was so precious and I know this will definitely be one of those Christmas' that Carlos and I will remember forever.

Her reaction to her kitchen was priceless! Unfortunately, I didn't get the best pictures of her coming into the living room because I was trying to soak it all in. She was a little unsure of what was going on at first, but then once she realized that she got a kitchen she started stomping in place with excitement and immediately went over to start cooking. This little girl knew exactly what to do! Then, it was time to open all her presents and she went to town ripping all the paper off (much faster this time thank goodness) and it was so adorable how excited she was about every last thing!

Carlos picked out a fun little took kit for his baby. She loves to "help" him with projects around the house, so he decided to get her a little kit of her own.

Next to her kitchen, these little plastic high heels were Lucy's favorite present. She is constantly wearing my heels around the house and once I helped her put them on she was walking around like a pro!

Lucy was in such a silly mood and all fired up after opening presents, so we turned up the Christmas music and danced around for a while.

And, then it was back to cooking- haha!

Christmas Eve

We decided to start a new family tradition with Lucy this year. We had her open one present on Christmas eve, which were PJ's to wear that night and for Christmas morning. Carlos and I were like two little kids on Christmas eve and absolutely couldn't wait for Christmas morning with LuLu.

Early Christmas

Carlos' parents came and stayed the night Thursday to celebrate an early Christmas with Lucy. These were Lucy's first official Christmas presents to open this year and she was hilarious! She would tear off one tiny piece at a time and it took about 5 minutes to open each present. I think she was just relishing each present, but luckily she got a little faster at opening presents. She got an adorable hot pink and zebra little coat from her Grandma Kathy and a singing potty chair from her Grandpa Lee. She loved her presents and loved getting to spend time with her grandparents.

Merry Christmas everyone! If I could send everyone special in our lives a Christmas card I would do it. But, since that just isn't possible (or should I say feasible), this will just have to do. Love you all and we hope you and your family have a very Merry Christmas!

Christmas at Chesapeake

Every year Chesapeake Energy (where I work) puts up the most amazing christmas lights on all their trees. On Tuesday night they had a cute little event where you could bring your family and drive through the campus to see all the lights, see Santa by the pond and walk through the center park to take pictures while you listed to the Christmas carolers. Lucy was not into Santa and immediately started to cry so I just held her while she starred him down, ha! She did love the twizzler he gave her though. Lucy loved all the pretty lights and kept saying "liiiiise" for lights. We had a great time and it was fun getting to have her up at work!
