Lucy Language

Oh my little Lucy Lu, you make your Mommy and Daddy laugh all the time.  I've been trying to jot down a few of your funny sayings lately and had to share with everyone and had to show some random and funny pictures.  So here's a bit of Lucy language:

Daddy: Lucy what time is it?
Lucy: It's 7:15.
Doesn't matter what time of day it is....it's always 7:15 in Lucy's world.  Kind of like Margaritaville.

Lucy: Mommy she shot me!
Lucy and are are at the doctor for her flu shot and potty issues (I'll post more later about that) and the nurse gives her the shot and Lucy looks at me and cries out, "Mommy, she shot me!" The nurse and I both lost it.

Lucy: Mommy you a mess!
Apparently I tell her she's a mess quite a bit.

Lucy: Why come?
Her way of asking how come.

Lucy: B-I-N-engie-Oooooo
This one just doesn't come across typed out as it is in person. Please try and picture her little accent at the end.

Lucy: Daddy, I want $7.00.
Apparently she's fascinated with the number 7 first and secondly, the girl knows who to ask for money.

Lucy: I do it.
Enough said.  Definitely the phrase we hear most in our household right now.

Lucy: I tooties. Cuze me.
Translation- I tooted, excuse me.

Lucy: abcdefghijkllalalalala...opqrstuvwxy and z
Who needs to say the full l, m, n? It all just runs together anyways, right?

Daddy: Lucy what is your full name?
Lucy: Lucy Brooke Rodriguez
Daddy: What is Mommy's full name?
Lucy: Mommy Brooke Rodriguez
Daddy: What is Daddy's full name?
Lucy: Daddy Brooke Rodriguez
I wish everyone could hear how she says Rodriguez too.

"I going shopping Mommy.  I get some food and be right back." All while she's on her phone. She's got some skills.

 Want a kiss?

Lucy's Grammie and Papa got her an entire bag full of dress up high heels and she went crazy.  She immediately put them on said she needed her purse and that she is going shopping.  Seriously, is this all she thinks I do- haha!

She's a wizard on my iphone too.  Seriously knows how to use it better than I do!

Lucy told me she needed some lipstick for school.  Not too shabby, huh?

Also wearing my heels the entire drive to work.

Shaking hands with the mannequin at old Navy saying, "Nice to meet you". She made some great friends that day.

Serving us our pizza one night at dinner.  Getting too big baby girl.

Her kitty cat needed to put her diaper on.  Lucy was very serious about this and told her, "Now lay down kitty cat". Makes you stop to think how she hears me say this to her.  I might need to be a little nicer when she's squirming around and won't lay down, ha!

Oh and of course the kitty needed some lipstick too.

Oh my little Lucy Goosey.  This is about how our evenings go.  You entertain us and we watch and laugh and laugh.  You are getting so funny and definitely got your sense of humor from your Daddy.  I LOVE how independent you are. Even though it can be very trying at times, I wouldn't have it any other way.  Poor Carlos having two very independent woman in the house! You love to read books to me now at bedtime and hold them up like your teachers do at school. You occasionally say, "I love you Mommy" out of the blue and I can't even get through typing that without tearing up.  You giggle so hard when your Daddy tickles you and it is the sweetest noise I've ever heard. You tell him, "Stop Daddy" while giggling so hard and as soon as he stops you lift your arm saying, "Here Daddy"- wanting him to tickle your armpities (as you call them).  You sing constantly and your favorites are: Row, Row, Row Your Boat, Twinkle Twinkle Little Star (sometimes we get the remix which is Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Daddy or the crazy fast version, which is hilarious). You also still love The Itsy Bitsy Spider and Black Sheep, Black Sheep.  Only you sing Black Sheep mainly saying, "Yes sir, yes sir, yes sir" over and over.  That one took me a while to figure out what you were singing.  You do and say something new every day and it's amazing experiences life through your eyes.  Love you LuLu.
