StoryBook Forest

Wednesday night Lucy and I went to StoryBook Forest in Edmond with my parents, sister and Kaylee. Carlos and Jackson were both sick and Jason had to work. We definitely wished they could have gone with us but we still had a great time. This was the CUTEST place ever! It's held out at Arcadia Lake and they create trails through the forest and then throughout the trails there are storybook characters that you can trick or treat from. They also have hayrides, games and mini camp fires that you can roast hot dogs and make smores. Seriously, the most precious little place ever and perfect for little toddlers since nothing is scary.

As I figured, Lucy was not crazy about wearing her pig costume but thankfully my sister bribed her with some candy and that seemed to do the trick at least for a little while. She also wasn't interested in wearing her pig hooves either, so for most of the night she just wore the body of the pig costume and that's it. We'll see how she does on actual Halloween over at the Easley's house. Can't wait to dress her up again!

My little piggy!
Ummm...I don't know what I think about this.

Ok, now I know what I think...not liking this piggy head at all!

Please baby! You look so cute!

Haha, suckers! You only thought I was going to wear it!

And, again trying to take it off. At this point, I decided I wasn't going to fight her! :)

My big helper, Kaylee, pushing Lucy to the entrance. Lucy adores her cousin! I'm sure as they grow older Kaylee will teach Lucy all sorts of interesting things, haha.

And we're off! A sweet lady offered to take our picture. It came out a little blurry, but I'm so grateful we got a group shot.

My favorite one...Rapunzel in her tower. She would drop the candy down to all the kids. Very cute.

This was another really cute one.

Lucy really wanted that Pinocchio and actually almost ripped it off. Ooops.

No time to take a picture guys, I want to touch Humpty Dupty!

Lucy chewing on a twizzle. This was the part where Aunt Crissie bribed her with candy to wear her piggy head and it worked for a while! Wooohooo!

I just couldn't resist getting her picture with one (make that two) of the Three Little Pigs.

Piggy, piggy, piggy!

Once she figured out that you could get candy from these people, she was all about going up to a few of them. Pretty cute.

Pretty girls. Kaylee is such a sweet girl and is such a good little cousin to Lucy. She was helping Lucy through the Forest the entire time. Love you so much Kaylee Brooke!

Aunt Crissie with the girls

Hayride time!

Posing with Madeline. I love Lucy's face in this one, haha. Such a wonderful night! Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Halloween! Favorite, favorite holiday- especially now that I have my LuLu.
