Playing at OU

Carlos and I were so excited for this weekend because we had no plans! It's been several weeks since we've been able to just wake up and decide what we wanted to do for the day and it was so incredibly nice. Carlos went and got us bagels from Panera for breakfast and then after Lucy's morning nap we ran to the mall and then to Target to get groceries. Then, after her afternoon nap (yes, everything is planned around Lucy's naps) we decided to take her on campus at OU to play in the soft grass and see the squirrels. She had so much fun and it really was a stroll down memory lane. We walked through campus and went by the Price College of Business (where I graduated) and then went to play. Lucy kept trying to eat the grass and leaves, but she had so much fun just crawling and playing in the grass. For me, it was so crazy being on campus where Carlos and I met our freshmen year (12 years ago...yikes), to now walking around with our baby. Man how times have changed, ha! But, only for the better. I now am married to the man of my dreams and have the most precious baby girl. I feel so incredibly blessed and don't know how life can't get any better.
