Carlos, Lucy and I had our Christmas today and then will have our big family Christmas hopefully tomorrow when everyone can make it to Norman. The roads and highways are still pretty bad (due to the 14 inches of snow and the huge snow drifts) and none of us want my mom and dad to take the chance of getting stuck again. As my ever optimistic husband told me this morning, "Just think on the positive side. We get to have Christmas spread out over several days." Which is very true and I am very thankful that everyone is safe and we will eventually get to spend Christmas together. Get ready for lots of pictures...
Lucy just waking up and coming into the living room for her first Christmas! It was around 6:00 a.m. when she woke up so I have no makeup on, but did manage to brush my hair, ha!)
Lucy spotting her presents...
The present I was most excited about. A glow worm! I loved, loved my glow worm when I was little and I hope Lucy will love hers as well.
Lucy discovering her favorite Christmas present...new paci's!
She was mesmerized by all her new paci's. Of course, the cheapest thing she loved the most.
I love her face in this one.
Lucy loved the noisy wrapping paper.
I can't wait to read this sweet little book to my baby.
Lucy and Daddy opening one of her presents. Oh and Reesie making an appearance as well. She has to be right in the middle of everything we do. Sometimes we forget, but she was our "first" baby.
Reesie getting her Christmas stocking. We had to keep hers upstairs so she wouldn't try to get in it early.
Lucy all worn out after her first Christmas morning! Notice the outfit change...someone spit up towards the end of opening presents, so we had to do a quick outfit change.
