Miss Lucy Brooke attended her first dinner party on Saturday night and had a fabulous time! We had to pick out a pretty dress which went perfect with some stylish little pink boots she got from our sweet friend Jill. It was at my good friend, Lisa, mother's house (Mary) and she really outdid herself. First, she sent out the cutest Evite which was adorable. Then, when we arrived she made amazing appetizers (shrimp cocktail and bree cheese with grapes to name a few. Then for dinner we had some amazing Filets (cooked perfectly by Jorge), asparagus, potatoes, salad and rolls.
Lucy was so good all through dinner and played under her activity mat so Mommy and Daddy could eat. She had fun looking around at all the pretty things in Mary's house. Then, like clockwork around 6:30 she started getting fussy and was ready for her bottle and bedtime. Lucy went to sleep in Mary's guest room while we all got to watch the OU vs. Nebraska game, which I might add was one of the worst and most boring games I have ever watched! Luckily, we were watching it with great company so we still had a blast. Thank you for having us all over Mary, we really had a great time.
