We had a nice relaxing Father's Day for Carlos this year and we all enjoyed it. Saturday we went and had dinner and then went to Madagascar 3 and Lucy just cackled and cackled in it, we were dying laughing at her the entire movie. After the movie, we came back home and blew bubbles outside, cut some paper (Lucy's new favorite hobby), planted some new plants and flowers for the patio and painted some rocks for the flower pots. Of course we had to add rhinestones and lots of glitter!
Sunday, we all got up and walked to Prairie Kitchen just down the street for breakfast and played outside and painted more rocks...and her body. Carlos and Lucy take a walk together every weekend and let me sleep in on one day. It's heaven and they get to spend special time together. They normally always go get a Sunday paper and a snack and on some days they stop and eat breakfast. Such sweet memories for both of them and I got to join in on the fun on this particular Sunday. We love you so much honey, hope you had a great Father's Day!
Daddy and his Doo-Doo's
Friday evening when we were headed home from work and school, Lucy wanted to stop and get some candy to put in her Daddy's present. I let her go in and pick whatever she wanted and here it is, cracked me up. Cookies 'N' Creme which Carlos actually really does like, but it was the Freedent for Dentures that cracked me up!
Waiting for the movie to start!
Our little helper planting flowers!
And painting some rocks....
And her body.
Sunday morning walk to breakfast.
Love.
Cuttin' paper!
And, we were supposed to be painting more rocks, but it turned into a boy painting party!
