We to put the Christmas tree up the Sunday after Thanksgiving. So we cranked up the Christmas music, lit our cinnamon candles and started making memories with our LuLu. Lucy got really into decorating, but our hands were full with this two year old and all the glitter! She kept picking at everything, little mess!
Lucy LOVED, LOVED, LOVED her stocking. She was so proud of it!
Waving hi to Santa!
Reesie wanted to join the decorating party and even reluctantly put on her Christmas collar that we bought her for her first Christmas with us a little over six years ago!
Lucy had fun playing peek-a-boo in the tree box
Dancing with Daddy
And she's off...
We had about three groups of ornaments like this on the tree. Goose would apparently pick a sweet spot and hang about five ornaments in the exact same place.
EXTREME concentration
Dancing with the ornament getting silly
I knew she would love these. Santa!
Only as soon as she grabbed one she stretched poor Santa's hat out just like a slinky!
She picked the exact spot she wanted for Santa. Way up high where he could watch everything.
Helping Daddy put the tree top on!
Showing off her tree.
Carlos started on some of the outdoor lights and it was FREEZING with crazy wind, so we stayed inside and watched by the window.
After her nap, we started on her tree. Lucy must have tried on every hat she owns...seriously. She was being so silly and kept saying that this was HER tree. Yup, it's yours baby girl.
And, while digging for more hats- she decided to put her tights and mittens on.
She was feeling good, feelin' the grooves.
Look at that sweet little bottom. Carlos and I enjoyed the show.
Then we turned out all the lights and her already pink room was really pink. She's been telling her tree night-night before she goes to bed now too, so sweet.
