Destin: Day Two

Day Two...we made it to Destin!  As soon as we checked into our condo we immediately went out to the beach since Lucy was so excited to see it and so were we!  We stuck our feet in the sand and ran around for just a bit, then headed back inside and Carlos carried in the luggage while Lucy and I had a mini dance party. There was a stereo that was pretty low on a bookcase and Lucy loved that she could turn the music on herself and dance.  We went to a local mexican restaurant called La Paz and then headed back to hang out on the beach for the rest of the evening.

 

 Checking out of our hotel in Baton Rouge headed to Destin.  Lucy showing off her new purse we got her for her birthday.

 We stopped and ate at a delicious seafood restaurant right on the water in Mobile, AL.

 And, we are here!

I LOVE IT!!!

 My beach buddies. Carlos now has someone to play with in the water and check out all the fish.  I love sitting on the beach and getting in for a few minutes to cool off, but not too into the swimming around part- never have been.

But, not this little girl.  She didn't mind the sand, the water, the fish- anything.  She played and played.

 Lucy and I collected some sea shells.

We stayed out on the beach and got to see the beautiful sunset our first night...ahhh.  We could all get used to this.
