I got a call from Lucy's daycare last Wednesday saying she had a 102.9 temperature and when I went to pick her up, I immediately knew she had another earache. She never really messes with her ears when she has an earache, but I can always see it in her eyes...weird I know. So off to Dr. Wilson's office we went. She had just been there the prior week for her 18 month appointment so when she saw the same nurse again she started running away crying, "No, no"! I felt terrible for the nurse, but I think Lucy definitely remembered her as the mean lady that gave her shots last time! After we picked up her medicine, I took her to pick out some new stickers and when we were pulling into the neighborhood, the second picture below is what I saw. I just sat at the stop sign cracking up! Momma loves my silly girl!
My sick girl at the doctor's office...see what I mean about seeing it in her eyes? You can just tell she's sick. :(
