Lucy and Reesie have always been pretty good friends, but have definitely had their moments of not being each other's biggest fans. Reesie wasn't really sure what to think of Lucy when she was a newborn and would just come over to give her a quick sniff and then go lay down by her window in the dining room. She was probably wondering who this new person was in her house that was taking up her parents attention? However, as Lucy has gotten older the two have truly develop such a precious little friendship.
Lucy learned how to throw a ball to Reesie very early on and I think that probably sealed the deal in regards to Reesie's love for Lucy. Lucy's new favorite thing is to give hugs to her 5 year old puppy and she was being so silly the other day and would not stop giving Reesie hug after hug! We were dying laughing and Reesie was such a good girl and just sat there and let Lucy hug and hug her and sometimes about strangle her, haha. I love that Lucy will get to grow up with her furry friend, Reesie.
