Whewww...today was an event, my goodness. Norman was having their annual "Norman's Best Easter Egg Hunt" at one of the city parks today. Everything started at 5:30p.m., so I rushed to get off work, picked up Lucy and head over with my sister and Kaylee. It was so extremely windy so I was very hesitant to take Lucy, but Kaylee was incredibly excited so we gave it a shot and Lucy ended up being just fine. I was so excited to have Lucy wear a new little dress (official Easter dress still to come), but it was so cold- I had to stick and shirt under it and then at the last minute even put little pants on her. It ended up just looking like a little shirt, which was just fine. Get over it Amanda. Lucy got her picture taken with Mr. and Mrs. Easter Bunny, then she ate some yummy goldfish (her first time to try them and loved them) and then the Easter Egg hunt began! Lucy found a golden egg, which you could cash in for a chocolate bunny later. She was so excited and gave it to her sweet cousin Kaylee.
Then, during the hunt we met an adorable little girl named Emma and while her Mommy and I were talking she asked what Lucy's name was and when I told her- she said Lucy that has the blog and goes to Trinity? I laughed...that was us. Lulu is famous, haha. Turns out it was Miss Amy's sister- one of Lucy's teachers at Trinity. Such a small world, this is why I love Norman sometimes. Amy then saw us and came over to say hi to Goosey (which is what all the teachers call Lucy- Lucy Goosey or just Goosey) which was so much fun. Then, out of the blue a photographer for the Daily Oklahoma started taking pictures of Lucy Lu. He said he couldn't guarantee it would make the paper, but that she should be in there. I can't wait to see! We had such a fun time and it was so nice to spend it with my sister and adorable niece, Kaylee!
Windblown and getting ready for the festivities. Not the most beautiful picture of me, but at least I got one with her.
Hanging out with Kaylee- she loves her cousins!
Lucy "picking". She does this all the time now. She'll only use her index fingers and she picks at your teeth, on your fingers, you name it. I hope she's not a nose picker, ha!
Note sure what to think just yet.

More pictures mom? Oh yes baby girl.

Yummo...she loved goldfish.
She was determined to open that candy egg, ha.
Lulu finding the golden egg! I promise she picked it up on her own, good job baby!

Lulu trying to eat that candy egg. Guessing by her face, the plastic didn't taste too great.
