Lucy And Her Crib and Pink Eye!

Well...Lucy has the dreaded pink eye. Sniff, sniff. She had a little cold last week and then her daycare called me Friday around 2:00p.m. saying she had a temperature. She's been drooling and her nose has been running like a faucet the past few days, so I just figured she was getting another tooth since this is exactly what happened with the first two. Well, I was definitely wrong. Yes, she is teething again but she woke up on Saturday with red matted eyes and they just got worse and worse as the day went on. We called her pediatrician and he said it sounded like she had conjunctivitis (pink eye). He called her in some eye drops, which of course Lucy absolutely hates! But, she is still trying to be her normal happy self. My sweet, sweet little baby. Uggghhhh...I HATE it when my little baby doesn't feel good. She's still acting pretty happy, but you can see it in her face that she just does not feel good at all.

After her bath tonight we let her play in her crib and watch her Strawberry Shortcake movie that her daddy got her. She loved it. She was cracking us up because she started playing peek a boo through the slats in her crib. So cute. We had such a busy and fun weekend planned...OU b-ball game, Jackson and Kaylee spending the night (I had pancakes and sausage all ready for the morning- their favorites) and then Lucy's Grandpa Lee was going to come down Sunday and then some shopping. But, of course all of those plans went out the window and we stayed at home all weekend. Even though Lucy was sick, it was nice just to camp out at home and just spend some nice snuggly time together.

Playing in her crib and watching Strawberry Shortcake on her new T.V. Grammie and Papa got her for Christmas.

Cracking herself up!

Peek-A-Boo Mommy!

I can do this too...

Trying to chew on everything in sight. Poor baby is already teething again.

Finishing the night off with some kissies for Daddy.
