Grabbing Everything and Funny Faces

My new favorite thing that Lucy is doing right now is reaching out a touching anything she can get her hands on! She's so curious about everything and getting better at being able to get her little arms and hands to cooperate with her. I absolutely love when she reaches out to touch my face. I melt every time. Lately, a few nights a week she wakes up around 3:30 a.m. or so and is just done with sleeping. So, unless we bring her to bed with us she just wants to stay awake and play. Laying with her in bed has become one of my favorite moments. I love getting to scoot her close against me and feel her little breath on my face. And now that she is touching everything, she'll touch my face which I just adore. I have to admit that a few nights I've let out a few tears because I can't believe how fortunate I am so have such a sweet girl. There are also the nights that I have to try not to laugh out loud because she'll start pulling at my nose and lips and is getting pretty good at it. But, I love it all.

Another new thing is how good Lucy is getting at copying our faces. Carlos does this all the time with her and she is getting pretty good at sticking her tongue out and pursing her little lips together making an "ooohhh" sound like her Daddy. So adorable. She is also starting to get some of her hair back. She was born with a good amount of hair and since then it started thinning out a bit. But as of the past few weeks, it seems to be thickening up again. She still has her little bald spot on the back of her head from swinging her head back and forth in her crib when she looses her pacifier, but I'm sure that will start to fill in as well. It's so crazy to think about what she'll look like with a full head of hair. Pretty darn cute I'm sure.
