My sweet baby is officially one month old today! This has been the best month of my life and I can barely remember what life was like before my sweet Lulu. She is our entire world and we are so thankful for her. Here are a few things that she has started doing:
- Loves being kissed on
- Now enjoying her baths
- Officially has real tears when she cries now (breaks my heart)
- Mostly does a one-sided smile (the cutest thing ever), but occasionally we get a full smile
- When she starts to wake up she opens one eye first, almost to check things out, then opens both eyes
- Is now sleeping around three hours at night and we are loving it
Here are a few random pictures over the past month. Some are a from the hospital, some just hanging around the house. I can't wait for all of our future months together. I love you Lucy!
One month old shot that was taken just before we took our bath tonight.
Her very first picture.
One of our first pictures together.
Play time with daddy and Reesie.
Taking a nap with Lucy. I love how she almost always sleeps with her little hands up by her face, so precious!
Our very good friends Lacey and Daniel. Lacey instantly cried as soon as she saw Lucy, we have both talked about this day for such a long time. Love you Lace.
My sister, Crissie, and my movie star niece (a.k.a. Kaylee) at the hospital. Crissie was the first to arrive at the hospital on the day we had Lucy. I was so glad to have her there. I love you Cris.
Jackson being so sweet with Lucy. Since she won't have a big brother, I'm so glad she will have Jack. He is such a special little man!
My mom and dad checking Lucy out. Like I mentioned in my last post- absolutely amazing grandparents.
My good friend, Lisa, checking Lucy out for the first time. Lisa and her husband, Jorge, have done so much for us throughout my pregnancy and since we have had her. We are so very grateful to have such amazing friends.
Carlos' dad, Lee, holding his "LB" as he is already calling her. Very cute.
Carlos holding Lucy at her first pediatrician appointment.
Lucy in her coming home outfit that just swallowed her. Her cute little white satin shoes wouldn't even stay on her feet, so we had to just put socks on her. :)
